Cambridge Class COVID-19 Policy (as of September 3, 2022) (All in-person participants)
- All in-person participants 5 years and older must be fully vaccinated including a booster shot when possible. Based on CDC guidelines, the “fully vaccinated” part of that requirement means at least two weeks since the second dose for vaccinations requiring two doses (e.g., Moderna and Pfizer/BioNTech), or since the first dose for vaccinations requiring one dose (e.g., Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine)
- Masks must be worn by all in-person participants 2 years and older when indoors (until further notification); Bandanas and neck gaiters do not meet this requirement
- Participants will provide their own water bottle or container
- Participants who might have been in contact with somebody who has recently tested positive for COVID will take reasonable precautions, such as a rapid antigen test, to determine their COVID status before attending class
- Participants will not attend if they recently tested positive for COVID or are experiencing any symptoms that might be related to COVID or some other communicable disease (e.g., sore throat, cough, fever, sneezing, breathing difficulties, body aches)
Proof of vaccination (All in-person participants)
- Please bring your vaccination card (copy, photo or Massachusetts digital app) to the first dance class that you attend in person after 1st March 2022. We will record that your vaccination status was checked. We will not collect copies of any records.
- This applies to all in-person participants (even if we previously noted your vaccination status).
Attestation of adherence to COVID policy (New in-person participants only)
If you are attending an in-person dance event for the first time since the start of the COVID pandemic, you will be asked to sign a form confirming that you have read and will adhere to the Cambridge Class Covid Policy. Forms will be available for signing at the start of the first class you attend. Adults bringing a child for the first time will be required to sign on behalf of the child.
